Index governance
How decisions about PSR100-MY are made, who makes them, and the complete public log of every recorded vote. The rulebook itself lives in the methodology; this page covers the people and the process around it.
The Metaru Index Committee
The committee holds 3 seats. Members serve pseudonymously: their legal identities are held in a sealed register by counsel, and every decision is published without attribution to individual members. This protects members from lobbying and pressure in a small market while keeping the decisions themselves — votes, tallies, and effective dates — fully public. Members declare conflicts before each vote and abstain where conflicted; Metaru Research does not deal in the cards it indexes.
Below the committee sits a four-eyes review desk: no single analyst decision reaches pricing alone. First-line dispositions on flagged sales are held until a senior analyst counter-signs or overrides them, and every step is audit-logged. Membership changes to a live index (add, remove, suspend, reinstate) may only take effect within a 30-minute window after the monthly report is published, and only for assets the report covers — the report explains the change, the window applies it, and the index tracks on. Emergency fast-removals for authenticity or integrity events bypass the window through an audit-logged override.
Standing commitments
The index accumulates only from its launch date. No history is simulated backwards, and published values are never silently rewritten — corrections follow the public error policy in the methodology.
Metaru Research does not buy, sell, or hold the cards it indexes. The benchmark has no position to defend.
Index membership cannot be bought. Constituents enter and leave only through the published eligibility rules and recorded committee votes below.
